Ostim-D is a combination medication used to treat and prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It contains two active ingredients:

• Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3): Helps the body absorb calcium, which is essential for strong bones.

Dosage and Administration:

The usual dose of Ostim-D is one tablet taken once weekly, on the same day of the week each week. It is important to take Ostim-D on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything other than plain water.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor about any allergies, other medications you are taking, and any underlying medical conditions.
• Ostim-D may interact with certain medications, such as aspirin and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
