Description

Clobis is a medication used to prevent blood clots. It belongs to a class of drugs called antiplatelet agents. Clopidogrel works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, which is the process by which platelets stick together to form blood clots.  

Key Uses:

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke: Clobis is commonly prescribed to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, or a history of stroke or heart attack.
• After a recent heart attack or stroke: Clobis may be used after a recent heart attack or stroke to prevent further blood clots.  
• Before a medical procedure: It may be used before certain medical procedures, such as angioplasty or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, to reduce the risk of blood clots.
